What We’re Looking For

We’re interested in ambitious and driven students who want to work on projects that impact campus and the surrounding LA community. If you’re inspired to do great things, think differently, and make change at USC and beyond, then you’ll fit right in.

Listed below are three organizational values that we believe in:

We welcome you, as you are, to join us in Spark SC. Diversity makes our teams stronger and our events better, and we welcome those with alternative identities, backgrounds, and experiences.

We believe that things can be better. Optimism about our mission makes us who we are: We think that our mission is worthwhile and provides many opportunities to make good in the world.

Once you’re a member, you’re a part of our Spark SC family. We want to help you learn and grow as much as possible, and in turn we encourage you to pay it forward.

What We Do

What will you work on in Spark SC? We work in committees to launch and run initiatives that impact the USC community and beyond. Most members participate in multiple committees. Here are some of the committees you could work on:

Arts, Grooves & Foods

AGF is an art fair that exists at the confluence of art, food, fashion, entertainment and entrepreneurship. Build relationships with exhibitors, speakers, and community members, plan logistics, and work on marketing for this one-of-a-kind event.

Spark SC hosts events that bring hundreds of students together and promote a culture of entrepreneurship at USC. Help us share the excitement at our events through photo, video, writing, and other media. Create marketing campaigns and promotions so that the whole campus can see what we’re up to and get involved.

Design and spread Spark SC’s vision through creative graphic design work. See your work showcased on bulletins and event pages from Cafe 84 to Fertitta Hall.
