Innovating for the Refugee Crisis

A class at USC where students work in teams, collaborating virtually with refugee students, to launch social impact initiatives in refugee camps.

To empower students at USC and refugees from around the world to form a global community dedicated to alleviating the refugee crisis.

Throughout this 2-semester course, students collaborate globally with refugee students to design and implement solutions to the refugee crisis. An interdisciplinary curriculum combining engineering, designing, entrepreneurship and international diplomacy, Innovating for the Refugee Crisis is an opportunity for students of all majors to finally apply the skills and knowledge they’ve been learning in traditional classrooms to real problems.
