Hi! I'm Jacqueline, nice to meet you :)
If I had to describe myself in a few words, I’m a designer and musician trying to figure stuff out.
I grew up in a STEM-heavy Bay Area space but was more interested in creating art and playing music.
In high school, I set aside my artistic passions as a hobby to spend more time becoming a better classical musician, and I got to do a lot of really cool things, like getting to perform on the big stage at Carnegie Hall and touring Europe during my senior year.
I rediscovered design and my love for starting new things through creating music projects with my friends, and decided to come to USC to have the space to explore and continue all of my interests-
I started in Electrical Engineering and quickly realized that I was in the completely wrong place. Switched my major 3 times, but am now at a cool intersection between design and technology that I now like to live.
Still a lot to learn, like not overwhelming myself with things to do and taking it easy, but also trying to get a little better each day. 2025 is a year focused on personal growth for me—if you’re reading this and resonate, let’s keep each other accountable!
I spend my free time drumming in the Trojan Marching Band, scrolling Twitter, and being the photographer friend at every function (though lately I’ve kind of taken a break from that).
But yea—still figuring stuff out. I don’t think that ever ends, really!
Me in Spark:
Joined Spark my sophomore spring, and hanging around ever since. During my sparklet semester (Spring 2024), I was really involved with designing fun graphics for AGF and also helping to plan Bay Trip. In Fall 2024, I co-led Bay Trip with Aidan!
I also like dragging Spark members to the LA Phil.
