Who we are
Spark SC is a student organization at the University of Southern California whose purpose is to inspire students of all backgrounds to pursue entrepreneurship.
What we care about
We believe in showing students at USC that creativity and entrepreneurship is for everyone, whether it would be building a startup, creating art, starting a non-profit, or launching a movement.
We are driven by a framework for entrepreneurial-thinking that supports students taking initiative outside of the classroom. We believe students can go above and beyond, and take their own course to create amazing things.
Break To Make
A two-day, all-women’s makeathon where in just two days, women (trans & non binary friends included) learn how to turn an idea into a product.
A community dedicated to sharing stories between startup founders and students through discussions and unconventional events.
Innovating for the Refugee Crisis
A class at USC where students work in teams, collaborating virtually with refugee students, to launch social impact initiatives in refugee camps.
A semester-long program dedicated to teaching underserved Los Angeles high school students the entrepreneurial skills need to be future leaders.
Startup Career Fair
Startup Career Fair (SCF) is a fully student-run career fair that brings together California’s best startups with USC’s most ambitious undergraduate students across all ages and disciplines to discuss existing opportunities and create new ones.
Tech.LA Fellows is a 10-week summer fellowship program that gives highly motivated students in design, engineering, and business a paid internship with a Los Angeles startup.
Weekly hacknights to promote a community of people interested in working on building projects outside of classes.
